How are Smthgood charges calculated?

Below rates used in the calculation examples are for illustration only:

Sellers in countries where Stripe is present:

• Assume item is AUD 50, international shipping is AUD 10, Smthgood commission rate is 10%
• Smthgood charges = 10% x AUD 60 
• Sellers will get their payment directly from Buyers via Stripe. Stripe will deduct Smthgood charges and the relevant Stripe charges* from your account automatically.

* Sellers are responsible for the relevant Stripe payment gateway charges: e.g. for Australia Sellers shipping internationally, it is be 2.9% + AUD 0.30. (Please see https://stripe.com/pricing for Stripe’s latest charges)

Sellers in countries where Stripe is absent:

• Assume item is PHP 2,000, shipping is PHP 200, Smthgood commission rate is 10%, Stripe fee is 3.4% + SGD 0.50** and Stripe foreign exchange fee is 2%
• Smthgood charges = (10% x PHP 2,200) + (3.4% x PHP 2,200)*** + PHP equivalent of SGD 0.50*** + (2% x PHP 2,200)***

** This is SGD because Smthgood is a Singapore company and it is Smthgood that has the account with Stripe. Stripe Singapore pricing is 3.4% + SGD 0.50 (Please see https://stripe.com/en-gb-sg/pricing for Stripe’s latest Singapore pricing)

*** These are Stripe related fees that Smthgood will pay on behalf of Sellers first and pass on the charges to Sellers on a monthly basis
