Stripe + Transaction fees

We use Stripe as our payment gateway, and all transactions are processed through it. You’ll need to set up Stripe to enable listings for purchase through Smthgood and receive automatic payouts for all transactions. 

For Sellers in countries where Stripe is present:

You will need to have a Stripe account or open a new Stripe account. 

Please open your Stripe account at https://dashboard.stripe.com/register and link to Smthgood. On how to integrate your Stripe account with Smthgood, please refer to “Stripe Integration” for steps

You will be responsible for the relevant Stripe transaction costs for each successful transaction. Please see here for Stripe charges https://stripe.com/pricing

For Sellers in countries where Stripe is absent:

Smthgood will have an account with Stripe. Sellers will have a non Stripe sub account with Smthgood.

For a successful transaction, Smthgood will pay the relevant Stripe gateway charges on behalf of Sellers in SGD and pass on such charges to Sellers. Given that Smthgood is a Singapore incorporated company, regardless of which country you are incorporated in, Stripe gateway charges will be always based on Singapore charges and in SGD. We do not charge any form of markup on payment gateway costs so Sellers can be assured that the Stripe costs is a straight pass through, subject to foreign exchange.
