Shopify Integration

Smthgood supports Shopify integration and makes it easier for Sellers with existing Shopify accounts to onboard and sell on Smthgood.

If you are a Seller with an existing Shopify store, please follow the steps below: 

1. Login to your Smthgood Seller account via our Sellers Dashboard.

2. Click “Inventory”.

3. Click “Integrate with Shopify” to link your Shopify products to Smthgood listings.

4. From your Shopify Admin Panel, we will require the below information to input into Smthgood integration window (see image below):

a. Shopify API key

b. Shopify Admin Access Token

c. Webhook version ( YYYY-MM format)

d. Your store URL

5. To retrieve the required information, Log in to your Shopify account.

a. Under your Shopify Admin panel, find “ Settings”

b. Select “ Apps and Sales Channels”

c. Click “ Develop Apps”

d. Select “ Allow Custom App Development”

e. Click on “ Create an app” and name the new app as - “Smthgood”

f. Select “ Configure Admin API scopes” under the Overview tab

g. A list of permissions to be granted will pop up. For Smthgood integration, please grant the following permissions, then click “ Save”.

i. read_discounts

ii. write_inventory

iii. read_product_listings

iv. read_products

v. read_shipping

h. Click “Configuration” tab  and “Install App” to get the Admin access token keys.

i. On the “API Credentials'' tab, copy “Admin API access token” and “API key” and paste on the Smthgood integration window. Do note that the “Admin API access token” is only shown in full once on your Shopify dashboard. Remember to record it down for future reference.

j. On “Configuration” tab, copy the webhook version in (YYYY-MM)  format and paste into the corresponding field on Smthgood integration window. 

k. On your “Settings” page on Shopify Admin panel, copy and paste your shop’s url and paste it under “ShopName” in Smthgood’s integration window.

l. Once done, click on “Start Integration”. A small pop-up will show integration progress, and you'll be notified if there's any integration error.

m. When integration is complete, the screen will show you an integration summary. 

n. After your products are uploaded onto Smthgood, as there are some details that are not imported from Shopify, you will need to head to "Products" and select the newly uploaded products individually to add in the following fields for each product.

2. Occasions
3. Collection - for more details refer to How to create Collections
4. Size Guide - for more details, refer to How to create Size Guides
5. Assign variant images (if there is none assigned yet)

How frequent is the information import sync from Shopify to Smthgood?

A daily sync at 02:00hrs SGT (UTC +0800) will be done to extract updated information from Seller’s Shopify account to Smthgood.
